Sleeps 6. Ruby House is an imposing property set on the old High Street which still retains  a large number of original features. The cottage has been decorated and furnished to reflect the owner’s love of Staithes and is perfect for holidays and short breaks throughout the year.

 

Ground Floor

​To the front of the cottage is a  cosy lounge with two large sofas, a log burning stove (fuel not supplied), and 32" flat screen TV/DVD with freeview and a CD player. To the rear of the ground floor is a spacious well equipped kitchen/diner (seats 6) with log burner (fuel not supplied) and direct access to the patio. The kitchen has a dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, fridge freezer, iron/ironing board etc.

 

First Floor 

Sunny large king sized bedroom with adjoining dressing room and Jack and Jill shower room with walk in shower, toilet, sink and bidet. There is also direct access to the shower room from the landing where there is also a small reading area.

Second Floor 

Double and twin bedrooms and the house bathroom with bath, electric shower, sink and toilet. Please note that the internal staircases are steep and may not be suitable for people with mobility issues.

 

Outside 

To the rear of the property is the patio with table and chairs outside in the summer season, which enjoys the sun in the afternoon. This is the perfect place to sit with a glass of wine and watch the world go by. Ruby House enjoys the perfect location in the heart of Staithes with easy access to local shops, pubs and restaurants and is only a short walk to the seafront, but with the advantage of a large enclosed patio to the rear with views over Roxby Beck.
